The City of Port St. Lucie’s Parks and Recreation Department is pleased to announce that limited boating access to the waters of the lake at O.L. Peacock Sr. Park (formerly known as Dreyfuss Lake) is now permitted. The park is located at 1950 S.W. Dreyfuss Blvd.
Boats are restricted to rigid hull, non-motorized water craft, such as kayaks and canoes. Rafts, gas and electric motors, floats and other inflatables are not permitted.
The beauty of Peacock Park lies in its undeveloped, natural setting. Therefore, the park does not contain a boat ramp, restrooms, telephones or paved parking. Those wishing to launch their rigid hull water craft must be able to carry their craft to the water’s edge and launch from shore, and trailers are not permitted to back down to the water’s edge. Swimming is not permitted.
