League of Women Voters Forum Decision 2010

The League of Women Voters held a Decision 2010 Forum for the Candidates in St. Lucie County. In case you missed it, below is a link for the forum. This forum is five hours long. Because of the length, we thought it would be a good idea to let you know when each group of candidates start their question and answer. This will give you an opportunity to watch only the candidates you want to watch.
Organized and coordinated by the St. Lucie County League of Women Voters, WPSL 1590 AM and SLCTV – St. Lucie County’s government access channel, the forum features candidates for the St. Lucie County School Board Districts 1 and 3; St. Lucie County Board of County Commissioners Districts 2 and 4; Port St. Lucie City Council Mayor and Districts 1 and 3; City of Fort Pierce Commissioner District 2; St. Lucie County Property Appraiser, County Judge Group 1 and State Representative District 80.
The forum has been be replayed on SLCTV (Comcast 21). Additionally, the forum has been broadcasted on WPSL 1590 AM, PSLTV (Comcast 20) and FPTV (Comcast 27) at various times up until the Aug. 24 Primary Election. Check local listings for airtimes. The forum will also be posted for viewing on SLCTV’s website www.stlucieco.gov/slctv under the Video on Demand section.
The Q&A starts with Candidates for County Commission, District 2. These candidates are Patti Tobin, Tod Mowry, Ken Waters and Paul Hoitt.
The section for County Commission, District 4 starts at 00:24:51. These candidates are Al Rivett and Frannie Hutchinson, both in a battle for the Republican Primary. Charles Grande, the incumbant Democrat and Jeffery Forsum the Independent in the race, can be seen during the October forum.
The section for County Judge, Group 1 are Cliff Barnes and George Dugan III and begins at 00:40:58.
The section for the special election for City of Fort Pierce City Commission District 2 forum begins at 00:57:36 and showcases Tom Perona and Rick Reed.
The section for Property Appraiser Office begins at 1:09:45. The candidates are Ken Pruitt and Judy Culpepper. Ken Pruitt was unable to attend the Forum so Judy Culpepper is the only available candidate to answer questions.
The section for School Board for districts 1 and 3 begin next, with District 1 candidates starting at 1:20:29. These candidates are Deborah Hawley, Sandy June Krischke, Kerryanne Monahan (unable to attend), Ghazantar Saeed, Travis Walker, Walter Wyckoff, Sr. District 3 candidates begin at 1:59:50. These candidates are John Dixon, Mike Jolstee, George Kalidonis, Donna Mills, Teri Pinney, and Sandy Southerly.
The section for the City of Port St Lucie Mayoral race begin at 2:54:12. There are ten candidates and this is by far the longest segment. The candidates are Chris Cooper, Shirley Copenhaver, Joe Edge, JoAnn Faiella, Albert Hickey, Victoria Huggins, Frank Lillo, Tim Neely, James Rich, Madeline Borrero Rodgers.
The section for the City of Port St Lucie City Council, District 1 begins at 03:35:13. These candidates are: Linda Bartz, Jillian Bauer Elkins, John Haugh and Carl Iken.
The section for the City of Port St Lucie City Council, District 3 begins at 03:56:37. These candidates are Joe Diskin, Marty Horn, and Shannon Martin.
