Indian River Lagoon and Swampland Tours conduct guided educational and entertaining scenic boat tours of the Florida Indian River Lagoon (IRL) and Estuary. Tours are conducted seasonal from the Fort Pierce FL City Marina aboard the 44 passenger pontoon boat, “Gator”. Perfect for large groups!
Captain Barry “Chop” Legé invites you to join him or one of his captains on a 90 minute cruise through the Indian River Lagoon. Experience the wonder of the Lagoon which is home to 2965 animals, 700 species of fish and 310 species of birds, and 1300 plants. Visitors and locals, alike, will be entertained while learning about and observing birds, dolphins, manatees, turtles and the importance of mangroves, sea grasses, plankton and more!
Captain and Audubon Warden “Chop” Legé also conducts special guided wildlife talks and walking tours for groups, scouts and area schools.
