The proprietor at Java Charlies – just up the block from the PP Cobb building in downtown Ft. Pierce – has the place on the brink of being one of the best spots in town. Literally a block from the Marina and down the street from the Sunrise Theater, Java Charlies serves big piping hot cups of Kona coffee that are rich and smooth and a must have on your way out in the morning, or to go with a walk in Marina Plaza on the riverfront.
The decor is sparse but artistically rendered, casual, and relaxing and offers a lot of different styles of nooks to enjoy your coffee. During the hoilidays, the “trimmings” are stylishly incorporated including a tree and classy lights, all of which makes for a festive cup o’ Joe.
