The St. Lucie Times features the latest News, Politics, Arts, Events, Business, and Sports for the St. Lucie Area, including Fort Pierce, Port St. Lucie, Stuart, Jensen Beach, Vero Beach, and St. Lucie County. It is The Online Local Paper For The Treasure Coast of Florida.

We wondered, what if there was a local paper here on the Treasure Coast that actually covered the news? What if it didn’t seek out the most perverse tidbits from the local police blotters for shock value, didn’t print press releases from its advertisers as if it was news, and actually covered some news, politics, and local events? What if it didn’t cater to the lowest common denominator, or let users espouse hatred in the comments for the page views, and instead talked to its readers with respect and asked them to respect each other?

The St. Lucie Times is the result of all that wondering. We’re not some big publishing company from out of state. We’re independently owned and published by local people here on the Treasure Coast.
